Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Radiology is a 3-year postgraduate program that involves radio diagnosis of diseases. Students are taught the fundamentals of imaging of internal organs, bones, muscles and other body structures using advanced imaging techniques. They are trained in Computed Radiography, Ultrasonography, Computed Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). They learn to interpret the results of the images for better diagnosis and treatment.

The candidates should have completed MBBS or done their Postgraduate Diploma from any recognized medical college or university and passed the qualifying examination with 55% or above aggregate marks. They should have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate Examination (NEET PG) and obtained the minimum cut-off percentile to specialize in Radiology.
