Doctor of Medicine (MD) Physiology is a 3-year long postgraduate course at JSS Medical College and Hospital. The students are taught the normal biological function of the body and how abnormal functions in human diseases are treated. The students are taught how to do translation research and develop new methods to treat a disease. At the end of the course, the students can work in colleges and universities as professors, hospital administrator, healthcare service and military service.

MBBS Degree holders should be from a college recognised by the MCI and the Government of India. The college should be affiliated to any university established by law in India and they should have completed a rotatory internship on or before the 30th of April on the year of admission.
