Doctor of Medicine (MD) Microbiology is a 3-year long postgraduate course in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College. The students are taught various sub-discipline like virology, mycology, parasitology, and bacteriology. The students study the organisms and infectious agents that are not visible by the naked eye and their interactions with other organisms. The students completing this course can work in hospitals and Health Protection Agency laboratories.
