Doctor of Medicine (MD) Microbiology is a 3-year long postgraduate course in M.S. Ramaiah Medical College. The students are taught various sub-discipline like virology, mycology, parasitology and bacteriology. The students study the organisms and infectious agents which are not visible by naked eye and their interactions with other organisms. The students completing this course can work in hospitals and Health Protection Agency laboratories.
