Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology is a 2-year full-time course in Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital. The students are trained to provide eye and vision care to the patients. They can deal with an eye test, diagnose the visual problem, give optometric counselling to the patients and so on. They can work in an eye clinic and help a surgeon during any eye surgery.
