The syllabus for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering is built for the duration of the course, split into eight semesters. The first two semesters have subjects common to all disciplines of study. Core subjects are covered from the third semester onwards. These subjects include Engineering Materials & Metallurgy, Applied Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Design of Transmission Elements and Composite Materials & Mechanics.
