Established in 1999, RK Ayurveda Medical College aims to impart training to students in basic principles & philosophy of Ayurveda. The college combines modern scientific advancements for giving better hospital attention to the people and society.

The college gives training the students in high-level academics, and extracurricular activities so that they can become the best physicians and also responsible citizens of the country. Apart from a well-stocked library, the college has a herbal garden with more than 250 medicinal plants available for demonstration.

The college has a collection of over 200 wet specimens of rare plants showcased in the pharmacology museum. RK Ayurveda Medical College is recognised by the Government of Karnataka and Central Council of Indian Medicine, Department of AYUSH, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore- Karnataka.
