Established in 2000-2001, KLE Society's Master of Tourism and Travel Management is one of the first colleges that introduced postgraduate courses in tourism programmes. The college provides quality education to the students in the field of tourism management.

The college is known for the recognition of academic progress and good placement records. The department providing tourism courses to the students are recognised by the Government of Karnataka.

The college was selected by the Government of Karnataka to start a five-year integrated course in 2007. The students are provided with all the knowledge and practical training to work in the field of tourism.

KLE Society's Master of Tourism and Travel Management is known for its professional education and training programmes. The facilities provided by the college are: Seminars: The college organises a lot of seminars as a part of the course and gives practical training to the students. Placement: The students are provided with placement opportunities in top companies in the field of hospitality department. Corporate Visit: The college organises corporate visit for the students for more practical knowledge. Student's Club: The students also have Sanchari, Tourism Club that organises First Aid & Safety Certification Course, Travel Writing Competition, Guest Lecture, and many more
